The short answer is yes. The Board of Directors and its Environment & Natural Assets Advisory is working with the Maryland Coastal Bays Program, Assateague Coastal Trust, Protectors of the Saint Martin River and other agencies to help monitor and improve the water quality of our surrounding water ways. Bill, if interested, please attend the next meeting of the Environment & Natural Assets Advisory. The time and date will be posted on the OPA web page. Marty |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I keep seeing comments saying don’t drink the water but ok to swim. Has anyone NOT drank water while swimming? Almost impossible to have some water get in you body. the question I have, are we investing any money into programs to help keep the water clean? |
