FYI Counsel was present. I am done with this conversation.
If counsel did not stop discussion of OPA business by the full board AFTER the meeting was adjourned, then we need a new counsel. As for you being done with this conversation, it does not change the fact that you and the other board members violated the HOA Act. What you and the board did was to meet privately to discuss OPA business without voting to go into private session for that purpose. Very troubling that the board does not recognize this. Something similar happened a few years back and then attorney Joe Moore wrote a legal opinion that board qjuorum holding the meeing was in violation of the Act. |
