As to phasing the project, that is exactly what is being suggested today by others.
Those "others" would be the Ocean Pines Association Board of Directors. They all raised their hands to support the project at the last board meeting. I think they are making a case that the work being proposed as phase one can be accomplished without requiring any additional work. The work in what they are calling phase one is, for the most part, maintenance of existing infrastructure. I have questions about the effectiveness of some berm that is supposed to increase the capacity of Bainbridge Pond by 50,000 CF. Not sure, but that work sounds like a major part of the dollars to be spent. It is not a bad thing to ask questions about what is to be done with $800,000. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe: I guess I wasn't clear so please let me try again. I could care less whether or not we go the referendum route on this issue. As to phasing the project, that is exactly what is being suggested today by others. Marty |
