I was wondering if anyone ever thought instead of moving all the water so far away would it be better to buy some of these low level properties/ homes, clear the land/ knock the home down and build some sediment ponds on the location where the water runs and lays naturally.
Won't work. The ponds would fill in heavy rains and overflow. Besides OPA cannot just force people to sell their property. In the end, I suspect your plan would be more expensive than 10 million. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi Peggy, I was wondering if anyone ever thought instead of moving all the water so far away would it be better to buy some of these low level properties/ homes, clear the land/ knock the home down and build some sediment ponds on the location where the water runs and lays naturally. At 10 million plus for this plan right now this could be a option that is a lot less expensive. Just a idea. |
