The only plan I am aware of regarding our golf course is a proposal to spray effluent water from the sewer plant thus freeing up pressure on the underlying aquifer. Nobody wants to drink that. Marty |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi Marty, yes. I agree. But if the county water plant on OP property is nearing capacity and cannot service 100 more businesses and homes in surrounding area without spending a lot of $ to expand it might be to everyone's advantage to rethink some of the plans and options. I was told by the County water department that River Run water comes out of facility on OP property. Was there not a conversation on this forum about County wanting OP golf water to use for expanding residential and commercial development and proving the other treated water. It was estimated that, in the future, the county could make millions selling the clean golf course water. OP didn't seem like that idea because it would require a new expensive irrigation system on golf course. Anyway, I'm just thinking out loud. |
