I may be remembering wrong but if the effluent water was used on OP golf course the water OP uses now would not be needed and would free up water to be sold to residents and businesses when more water is required for new development. I think I read River Run uses effluent water in certain areas now. Anyway, I agree with Joe. More planning need to be done for the long term so everyone gets what they need. Use those engineering studies, other ideas and figure out a long term plan and what it cost. Do not keep kicking the can down the road. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Peggy: The only plan I am aware of regarding our golf course is a proposal to spray effluent water from the sewer plant thus freeing up pressure on the underlying aquifer. Nobody wants to drink that. Marty |
