Thank you. I remember parts of the discussion but it's been along time and I could never had said that the way you did. I do remember someone wrote that the county wanted OP golf course water ...needed it for future development...would be very expensive to expand water treatment facility to produce clean water....not sure what if any plans were made. I do know we pay a few dollars more for water in River Run than OP. I just pay the bill and don't really look at the details. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The only plan I am aware of regarding our golf course is a proposal to spray effluent water from the sewer plant thus freeing up pressure on the underlying aquifer. Nobody wants to drink that. I think you misunderstood Peggy. She is saying that if the county uses effluent to water the golf course then OPA does not use its wells to water the course and thus less water comes out of the aquifer based on total current usage, and making that much more available for possible expansion. |
