The bylaws state:

(b) A Director may be removed for cause by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the entire Board of Directors provided the Director is notified of the proposed action and granted an opportunity for a hearing at a regular or special meeting of the Board of Directors prior to final action.

Janasek must be given an opportunity for a hearing -- I would expect that he would have the right to defend himself by calling witnesses who might be in attendance to speak in his defense. They could only do so after hearing the specific charges.

If Janasek is denied to have such folks speak on his behalf AFTER the changers are provided then shame on this Board of Directors.

It is also shameful to hold this meeting/hearing with 24 hours notice. Our governing documents insist on prompt attention to complaints and allow up to 14 days.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where:
As for "punishing Janasek," we have no idea at this time what charges Viola will bring out in public. I will give both men the benefit of the doubt until I hear the charges and proof of those charges and, also make some determination as to whether the charges are of a nature to suggest removal is appropriate.

Yes to benefit of the doubt. This is a Special Board meeting in which Public Comments are limited to the topic. Since the agenda lists Public Comments prior to the Public Hearing, those members attending the meeting will not know facts of the complaint in advance, therefore, any Public Comment in support or opposition would be based on what you have written in your article.

I will be attending the meeting, which is limited to 50 seats. Tom
