The board could not conduct it in obscurity under our bylaws. Once Viola filed a formal complaint the board was obligate to hold a public hearing within 14 days.

My comment about Janasek allowing this to erupt publicly was meant to convey my thought that he had been warned in the past and continued his abusive comments about Viola. We do not know if any of Janasek's apparent complaints about Viola are valid or not. That was not the issue before the board. If Janasek had any valid complaints about the GM those complaints should have been brought before the board in private session, not blurted out in public places like the Yacht Club and golf club.
