What I stated about the requirement for a public hearing was not my opinion. You should take the time and read the OPA bylaws and Resolutions if you really want to make informed comments.

First of all, Janasek was warned about his abusive public behavior months ago. He refused to stop.

After 15 months of this abusive behavior by Janasek in front of board members, OPA employees, and association members in public places like restaurants, Viola filed a formal complaint on November 5, 2020. 

At that point our governing documents REQUIRED a public hearing on the complaint within 14 days.

From the OPA bylaws:

(b) A Director may be removed for cause by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the entire Board of Directors provided the Director is notified of the proposed action and granted an opportunity for a hearing at a regular or special meeting of the Board of Directors prior to final action.

From Resolution B-08 Director and Officer Ethics and Conduct:

Complaints regading violation of these standards and policies shall be address by the Board in a public meeting timely but not to exceed 14 days after the complaint is received."

How is it that you have so much knowledge as to who said what when?
