I don’t look at it as ironic, it’s smart for me to not publicly share what I know, feel and believe at this time in regards to some board and management.
I support Esther because I know her heart and she is my friend. It’s also a group of almost 500 people who are discussing positive initiatives. I see that as a good thing. We view it differently. That’s okay. As far as getting involved in the discussion. You’re right. I was trying as I always do, to answer on here what I feel and believe. I stand by that I helped start the group from a technical side AND I support what I see as a positive. And I will answer and help if I am asked a question in that group or on here or in the other Facebook pages that I often get tagged in for questions. It’s who I am and who I always will be. I like to help if I am able too. ESP things I care about. I will always care for the OP community. It wasn’t just a job for me. Captains Cove is a wonderful place. I feel extremely lucky to be there and I immediately felt supported. Everyone should come try their restaurant if they haven’t. Beautiful view and wonderful food! Speaking of Girl Scout Cookies, how many boxes of thin mints do I need to eat to see results? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Colby, Diller’s group is not selling Girl Scout Cookies. “I am going to hold to myself my opinion on how I feel OP is run.“ That is rather ironic, considering recent events. Not to mention you now support a group whose founder says OPA is a dictatorship. Transparency is important but for Diller to suggest the board hold no private meetings is ridiculous. I am still at a total loss as to why you want to get this involved in OPA politics at this time or even involved in this public discussion. Diller brought you into it with her Gazette interview and I think it is obvious to any reader that there is more to the “alliance” than a little technical support as you originally wrote. You won a major public relations war with OPA. Take the victory and move on to Captain’s Cove. Getting involved in OPA politics is no-win situation.
