I'll be watching for specific agendas, thank you for bringing that up. So far, Esther and Colby have been guiding discussion...meaning who is next to talk...asking questions, that sort of thing.
What? Esther and Colby are guiding the discussion? Deciding who is next to talk? Does that mean who will be next to give public comments, or what? Maybe I should start deciding who can post what on this forum.
Here is the "About" wording for this forum as it was set in the spring of 2004: OceanPinesForum.com is meant to provide an online location for free and open discussion of issues impacting the community of Ocean Pines, Maryland. Everyone is encouraged to participate, including the members of the Ocean Pines Association and other elected county officials. Frankly, I have to say yet again how disappointed I am to see Colby involved in what is essentially a political operation. Then again, she now says she wants to retire from Captain's Cove, and apparently has no further interest in becoming GM of Ocean Pines in the future. If you're on Facebook, join the group. Never joined Facebook and not likely to join. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I have stated very clearly on multiple forums, including Get Involved that the STR rules are not something that popped up a week ago and waiting for the finished document is putting the cart after the horse. I have also stressed that as homeowners it is in your best interest to attend or watch the board meetings to be informed of these things. I'll be watching for specific agendas, thank you for bringing that up. So far, Esther and Colby have been guiding discussion...meaning who is next to talk...asking questions, that sort of thing. Some folks have been here for a while and can provide direct response to questions while the Board only takes comments. I've got two outstanding unanswered emails to the Board.
