You'll have to debate those issues with Marty, as he was directly involved. And Marty holds a totally opposite opinion -- namely that this golf property was not the solution for flood abatement. Disputing the idea that it was a golden opportunity. Also seems that Marty is critical of how the negotiations were conducted, without full disclosures, as I seem to recall.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Back room deal? I sat in on board meetings when discussed. It went public. We missed a golden opportunity and will pay the price for not taking it. At least the homeowners in that flood prone area will pay the price every time there is a heavy rain. |
