Well, if the cost is $2 million we should be doing it now. I do have input from another person involved that puts it at $8 million today.
Regardless, this board should pull out those old plans and get prices on the option. It owes that to property in the flood prone areas. At least Jim Bunting’s deal to let us dump water into River Run free seems to have reduced some of the knee deep flooding. OPA should have given Bunting a medal. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Steve Soule had 3-4 different designs as I recall depending on pipe size and layout . I think we had a plan and maybe even a quote. My best memory says 4 million was a Cadillac 100 year storm design that was not even considered . I think we could have done it for like 2 million or less for a 50 year storm |
