For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: "Apparently, when the day came the GM was unavailable and Perrone was asked to take his place." I agree with all the previous posts that this entire situation could have/should have been resolved between the employee (Phillips) and the employee's immediate supervisor (Viola). If this meeting was scheduled as stated, it should have taken place. It should have been important enough that Viola would make himself available. and if he truly couldn't be available he should have rescheduled the meeting rather than "chicken out" and hope someone else would solve he problem for him. |
