I'm trying to think through the candidates.
Sometimes there are limited or no good choices. Voting in Stuart and Bill Farr likely means an end to it. Stuart is pro-county enforcement only. He and Farr seem to be running almost as a team. Janesek has a rental or rentals..those 3 plus 1 would likely end it Hummm. Board members with short-term rental properties should make that public information, given the board is voting on those matters. Lakernuick and Farr are obviously a team. Just as obvious they are hoping to join Parks and Janasek to form a board majority if elected. That may not be a good thing for OPA. On the other hand, it looks like Colette Horn will be OPA president if Daly is elected and Lakernick and Farr are not elected. Frying pan or fire. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I'm trying to think through the candidates. Frank Daly or 2 of 3 unknowns. Mr. Daly answers questions and provides info that no one else seems willing to do. And, I believe he will try to follow through on STRs. Voting in Stuart and Bill Farr likely means an end to it. That leaves Mr. Daly and that other guy (another completely unknown until candidate forums). I believe Mr. Daly didn't agree with the referendum as stated. Would've preferred reducing the percentage. I'm certainly not saying I agree with everything he has said, but we have to pick the best of what is available. I'm all for getting rid of Tucker:. Bad counsel on referendum initially; either bad counsel on referendum wrt bulkheads or being obtuse and not correcting Board's statements, then advising them not to respond or talk about referendum; finally, not having his firm talk to EVERYone Colby gave him;.
