| FYI, I offered a motion two years ago to reduce the spending threshold. Not one Director would support. Daly said no because of by-law wording about phrasing projects. IMO Daly is mis-reading the by-laws. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I'm trying to think through the candidates. Frank Daly or 2 of 3 unknowns. Mr. Daly answers questions and provides info that no one else seems willing to do. And, I believe he will try to follow through on STRs. Voting in Stuart and Bill Farr likely means an end to it. Stuart is pro-county enforcement only. He and Farr seem to be running almost as a team. Janesek has a rental or rentals..those 3 plus 1 would likely end it. That leaves Mr. Daly and that other guy (another completely unknown until candidate forums). I believe Mr. Daly didn't agree with the referendum as stated. Would've preferred reducing the percentage. I'm certainly not saying I agree with everything he has said, but we have to pick the best of what is available. I'm all for getting rid of Tucker:. Bad counsel on referendum initially; either bad counsel on referendum wrt bulkheads or being obtuse and not correcting Board's statements, then advising them not to respond or talk about referendum; finally, not having his firm talk to EVERYone Colby gave him;.
