For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: . . . acres in the pond watershed? Wild guess - over 50 Off hand, 50 sounds too high. Your 7 acre example seems more reasonable. I'd guess we would need to consult another source, for example, a land surveyor. If there's any retired land surveyor's reading this, maybe ride thru that area and take a look. Seems we should be dropping that reference to 2 inch rains from one acre, since there seems a much larger area is involved. |
