| It’s a cultural thing and we could all learn from it. My daughter in law who is Chinese was always encouraged to do her best.. when she would come home (and she was an excellent student).. instead of heaping praise on her her parents would ask her if she had studied more could she have done better. We all have a lot to learn from each other. | ||||||
