Section 4: General Subject: Polluted North Gate Pond? Msg# 1140802

I believe I now have the results. Tests were done in late November 2020. A test done on one side of a north gate pond showed some number for Human waste at sound 9000. Kathy Phillips of Assateague Coastal Trust wrote it was possibly an anomaly and another test was done the second showed the number around 140. I think there is supposed to be a third test.
Anyway, take the above as just my preliminary observations as I am awaiting more info. The sky may not be falling. Oh, one notable item is it looks like all the tests showed those ponds along 589 as unsuitable for swimming. Dogs and geese look like contributors to the problem. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Is there some question about the test results? If they are accurate then the County Board of Health should get involved, if, on the other hand, they are questionable then the test should be done again, soon! |
