You and I have discussed the fact that the person who commissioned the reports was probably the person who received the reports and should be questioned as to when they were received and who were they given to and when. Do we know for sure that it was Janasek who commissioned and got the report? Has Janasek said that? You say that the Board asked Janasek to get the report but you have also said that there was no mention of this in Board meetings you attended and no resolution to pay for a report.
So, you have pointed out that the Board had no role in this and should not be accused of a conspiracy. I am inclined to believe that's true but there is definitely malpractice here in governance. I pointed out that the only one on record of saying that the second report was refused to the committee is Wolf who now says he didn't say that. The uncorrected minutes of the committee says he did. I'm looking for why we have had to spend so much time unraveling what should have been a straightforward process. I'm happy to see that a post mortem is planned. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: So now Wolf may be the culprit? I suggest more attention be focused to the fact that the board liaison received the second good news report and did not turn it into OPA until many months after it was done, rather than the nuances of some conversation mentioned in meeting minutes. Think about this - the bad test comes back in November 2020. Board tells Janasek to get test done again. Second test was done in December 2020. Janasek did not deliver the test results to OPA until August or September of 2021 when he dropped them on a desk at Admin Building. In June 2021, both Janasek and the GM attended the committee meeting. There is no mention of the December test, or even the November test. Janasek also attended committee meetings earlier in the year, after the December report. When did Janasek receive the report he dropped off in August or September? I have asked the new committee liaison to look into all this, including checking with ACT regarding when Janasek received results. |
