Keep in mind the difference between copyright and trademark.
A trademark is a word, symbol, design, or phrase that denotes a specific product and differentiates it from similar products. Copyrights protect “original works of authorship,” such as writings, art, architecture, and music. There are a number of entities that have a trademark on "OPA." |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I got a copyright on the name of my computer company, "K9bytes" with the first sale I had with the name on the package. Also I was given a copyright on my logo, a dog a a computer smoking a cig at the same time. It stood up in a court case I had. OPA should have a automatic copyright the first time they sold something using the name "OPA" George |
