I think You did the job that Janasek needed done. Great for him and you. I do not think the OPA was equally well-represented.
I have a question that I am not sure you can or want to answer: why would the insurance company think an outside lawyer would better represent the community than the community’s year round lawyer? Ooh, I have another, is the insurance company OBLIGATED to represent the issue if they didn’t believe the board was correct in the way they handled things or would they tell them you don’t have a leg to stand on? I understand if you do not respond. But, thanks. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Courts act responsibly, thoughtfully, thorougly, unlike a lot of people who comment unknowingly on internet forums. "Ludicrous" is one of those silly, hyperbolic words that is used too often but rarely applies. Lawyers advance arguments they are able to advance based on the facts and law of the case, i.e., they work with what they have. |
