Does anyone know the exact physical location where the counting will take place?
According to the work scope the ballots will be counted in the office on Bainbridge Island However, the work scope also says ballots would be mailed on 7/11/23 and duplicate ballots needed to be requested by today 7/25/23. For more information: |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Return ballots have always contained an identifier, otherwise no way to prevent multiple ballots from one property. The mailing contractor always knew who was voting, and could always see how the lot voted. However, this is first time I recall the lot owner name being on the return envelope. This election will take place, but the process implemented by the Committee certainly does nothing to restore trust in the process. The opposite, actually. As a part of observing and supervising the vote count, perhaps the Election Committee should insist no envelopes be opened until it is done online and observable. Does anyone know the exact physical location where the counting will take place? |
