Thanks. The dumping of sewage was covered here months ago. The current issue goes well beyond the old but ongoing story of the Riddle plant problems.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The ROC recently did a podcast regarding this subject. I am in receipt of a letter from Chip Bertino dated 7/26/2023 stating that the County has invested $100,000 in the design of upgrades to the Glen Riddle Plant and submitted to the Maryland Department of Environment a construction permit on May 26, 2023. The ROC recorded the podcast because we were receiving complaints about the 5-8 trucks per day entering Ocean Pines carrying 50,000 gallons of Glen Riddle's waste. The County, has spent about $500,000 over the past three years transporting wastewater from Glen Riddle's failing system which is only operating at 50%. |
