I am hearing if you throw a canvas cover over anything the inspector will not or cannot go on property to see what is under it.
That's why the most recent listing of DR violations is woefully underreported on junk and unregistered vehicles. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Can OPA enter the property and look under the covers to make a determination? I am hearing if you throw a canvas cover over anything the inspector will not or cannot go on property to see what is under it. Possibly it would take a 2/3 board vote to allow inspection. Bright is hopefully the fresh pair of eyes needed to do a comprehensive review of what can and cannot be done legally. What OPA is currently doing is not working Frankly, ECC/ARC Committee is also a problem in that it has absolute right to grant variances and does so way, way too often on questionable items. This needs to be curtailed but I am not sure how. The variances are the sole decision of the committee and there is no board review or approval or recommendation. |
