I also remember eating there on many occasions. There steaks were always good. As to the Ribeye being the best many would agree. It is because of the fat marbling that runs thru out it. It use to be my favorite however now I prefer the NY strip. As I do not eat the fat I found the added expense not worth it. Also there are a lot of other factors that go into a great steak. Again Just my opinion |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: John, many years ago I was having dinner in a restaurant in "Old Fort Worth" called "The Cattleman's" which was known far and wide as having the best steaks in Texas and, that's saying something. I had a chance to talk to the chef and he told me the very best steak was a Rib Steak, he said they had the best flavor and texture of any, period! What say you? |
