| That may be accurate. My son was not able to use a manual wheelchair and transfer to a stationary seat. I'm just saying take in consideration that at some point there may be someone who would like to be there who can't sit on a bench or transfer to a chair so make sure there's a section that isn't just tucked in the back corner like an afterthought for that person. :) | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Also, bench style seating is not handicap accessible for those who use a motorized wheelchair. In over 30 years I do not recall anyone attending a boad meeting in a motorized wheelchair. Regardless, there can be bench seats and an area for motorized vehicles. The problem with Tom’s thinking is obvious. He immediately wants to have a board room useable as a kids playroom. |
