For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe, I have not reviewed our governing documents today, I have been enjoying all that is the 4th of July, mainly the Nats winning 1-0. Absent a deep dive and appropriate legal advice, my opinion is that the amount of money being "tossed around" should be subject to a referendum and I have no doubt it would pass since all of OP cherishes the work of the OPVFD. The obvious caveat is that there is an agreement between OP and OPVFD and I can contribute no particular information about that other than to say I did see the headline from this month's progress about negotiations.
