Where did I write otherwise?

You not getting to know everything related to that, at this point in the process, does not equate to a "lack of transparency." It equates to a corporate Board acting responsibly. 

You continue to misrepresent what I wrote. I have never asked to "know everything" related to the negotiations with the OPVFD. Never. Your suggesting publicly that I did does not make the misrepresentation true.

Unlike you, I attended the meeting between representatives from OPA (Rick Farr, John Viola, Ted Moroney, and Josh Davis) and the OPVFD. Unlike you, I witnessed the anger and resentment of the 75 or so members of the OPVFD who attended that meeting. After the meeting, I was thanked by the OPVFD president for attending. Several OPVFD members in attendance approached to thank me as I left. Ask OPA staff.

The justified anger of the OPVFD folks was caused by another interview given to Tom Stauss by Rick Farr in the November 2023 edition of the Progress. As a result, talks and discussions broke down. 

I have also written that it is great to see negotiations start over again.

If you want to hand out advice, perhaps advise your clients to stop giving newspaper interviews about ongoing business negotiations for purely political purposes. That does not equate "to a corporate Board acting responsibly." 

I consistently said a referendum would be necessary if OPA put up millions. I still maintain that opinion. You have not said otherwise.  Why can't association members be told whether a referendum is required or not?  That is not a contractual question. It is a governing documents question.

I wrote nothing to suggest you told the Board of Directors anything with regard to the OPVFD and any referendum. Nothing. I wrote about what a local paper reported. 

Why harass me? Contact the individual who used your name and who attributed you as the source of some legal advice to the board. That individual was not Joe Reynolds.

Finally, does any reasonable person who follows OPA politics believe it is a coincidence this OPVFD story popped up on the Progress days ago with the obvious intent of rewriting history in an election where challengers to Farr are using the Farr interview debacle in the November 2023 edition of the Progress? 

I was looking for something appropriate from Winston Churchill but came up empty.
