Thanks for the further clarifications. I particularly enjoyed the last two linked reports. These very nicely tell the story of offshore wind being quite expensive. Although the first report contains a lot of jargon, its conclusion is very clear.

"The American people simply don’t want to pay more for energy—not in their electricity bills and not in their tax bills." PS I was an electric/gas utility accountant, by trade. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The studies are not from the same source. From the same university, yes. But the first study was done by the economics department. The one regarding lowering electricity prices was done by the environmental department. The offshore wind studies and reports that I have seen done by university environmental departments or based on telephone surveys , it appears, are biased at their conception . I would add that those done featuring Block Island are also irrelevant based on the uniqueness of that one situation .
