Publisher Tom Stauss in a front page article in latest issue of the Ocean Pines Progress says "Signs Point to Sodel as working group's preferred food and beverage vendor."
His source - someone who knows someone who was at the closed session board meeting when the GM presented three bids to the board and informed them of his review group's choice. That is the very definition of "hearsay" information. It certainly would not be used in a courtroom, and generally "hearsay" sources should probably not be used in news articles. Neither someone is named. Of course, what is there for the Progress to lose and there is a at least a 50% chance of being correct.
Given the three vendors, Sodel is certainly a good bet. |
