As for who paid for what under Ortt, association members paid for everything . OPA funded a checking account and Ortt wrote checks on it for every expense, including labor. Ortt had no risk. This new contract is a lease, i assume with proifit sharing. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi Joe, I think touch of Italy is going to do a great job. I was in the restaurant business for 35 years. They are a good operation. They’ll expand on banquets. One thing I don’t understand is the free concerts at the yacht club. Who actually pays for those? Does that come out of the Ocean Pines budget or does that come out of the restaurant’s budget? |
