My point is I pay the same taxes as full time residents, in fact, I pay more, no homestead exemption, but I have zero say in County or State government. In my way of thinking that's not right!
So move full-time to OP or stop complaining. I may not recall all the details, but condo and second property owners tried to get voting rights in OC. Courts denied. In the Ocean City example, the potential would be for those who do not live full-time in OC to control OC. Anyway, get over it. |
