We all know you and a former board member has no love loss for Ransdell.
Proving Amy Peck is indeed living rent-free. Board members can certainly ask any questions they choose. As for Ransdell, he stated the committee has been meeting frequently. Can you, as OPA vice president, point association members to the official announcement of those meetings as to the time and place that would have allowed association members to attend? No minutes of those many meetings can be found on the OPA website. Ransdell also had the ballots from the last election delivered to his home. Ransdell seems to do what he pleases, not what the governing docsuments specify. Ransdell took a committee vote via private call to each committee member. He did not even inform committee members how each member voted. Is Cheryl Jacobs now among those you say have "no love loss for Ransdell?" If you paid attention to the meeting, I asked Ransdell who he felt with the information he had, who best could run our election if they were held today. I did pay aattention. Why would you not want to know what all five committee members thought? Curious minds would like to know why Ransdell's opinion is apparently the only one that mattered. Cheryl Jacobs, in the heat of the moment, may have asked the quesion incorrectly. It was clear to me that she was incensed over how Ransdell was undermining the Committee decision - with the help of some board members. President Lakernick initially did not even want Jacobs to have an opportunity to speak, yet she represented the majority opinion of the committee - not Ransdell. She pointed out, quite clearly, that the committee had voted. M-06 says the Election Committee will approve the contract for the election contractor, not the OPA Board of Directors. If the Board of Directors does not like the contractor selected by the Committee, replace those who selected a contractor the board does not want with others who agree with Ransdell and the board. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe ~ Nice assumption, maybe you should ask before you make your assumptions. I am not defending anyone in this process. I asked very specific questions regrading MK vs Ace. I was accused by a EC member that my question was trying to change the vote of of Ransdell on which vendor he chose to run the election. If you paid attention to the meeting, I asked Ransdell who he felt with the information he had, who best could run our election if they were held today. As a board member, I can ask any question to ensure I get clarification I need to make a decision. We all know you and a former board member has no love loss for Ransdell. Thanks Rick |
