The most recent spin I've read on the Forum is this spin , the first paragraph of which is below:

"Hoax and forgery are strong words, and carry strong emotional appeal. They also carry a connotation of an intent to deceive. I'm not convinced that was the case."

Whose good side are you trying to get on with that opinion, Marvin, ESBIA or both?  I guess in your opinion this letter must be an error in judgment, a mistake, an honest mistake, a joke, poor decision making, no foul, no harm done, a lesson learned, etc.

You're convinced his false letter is nothing more than, "Perhaps this is, at the least, a good lesson for the builder's association and will prevent such incidents in the future."

Example - What would you call someone who would take letterhead stationary from the Ocean Pines Area Chamber of Commerce, compose a fictitious letter in support of the OP community center, sign someone else's name and then mail that letter to the local papers for publication?
