That's right ,the key words are:what was approved. When that that was not possible because the numbers far exceeded the referendum , it was time to take an honest appraisal of the reality of the situation, review our mistakes, inform our folks. Make a solid plan based on the facts what we have learned. That is called responsible accountable behavior. The opposite is called denial.
