I think they just verify the lot owner signature is actually the owner of the lot listed with signature, that a lot is not counted for signing more than once. They also have to be in good standing; paid their assessments, etc. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I don't believe they call, although I suppose they could. Might depend on how many valid total petition signatures are received. I think they just verify the lot owner signature is actually the owner of the lot listed with signature, that a lot is not counted for signing more than once. On the marina petition, Joe Moore tried to suggest each card be notarized and/or some sort of penalty of perjury clause. That didn't happen, and should not, in my view. |
