That was all part of the sell job to get the referendum passed. Let the building deteriorate to a condition where the only choice is to build a new one. We were told it would cost $1.5MM to fix the building vs. only $3.9MM for a new one and $78,000 to knock the building down. Once the referendum was passed fixing the building was put back on the table as all of a sudden the building was to good to knock down. In the mean time water damage continues to drive the cost of repair up. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I can't believe the roof is STILL NOT fixed. Would anyone treat their home in this manner? good grief! |
