How
can owners of interior lots expect to have equal access to a water view
or a golf course view when their homes are not on the water or golf
course? They didn't pay to have such a view or such access. I didn't say they should have such access to those views, they just shouldn't have to subsidize them. In addition, waterfront lots already pay more money to OPA than do interior lots. Case in point! Why not golf course lot owners? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Owners of interior lots don't have the equal access to a waterview or a golf course view as do owners of waterfront or golf course lots. And they are not supposed to have equal access! How can owners of interior lots expect to have equal access to a water view or a golf course view when their homes are not on the water or golf course? They didn't pay to have such a view or such access. Are interior lot owners supposed to bring their lawn chairs and sit on the lots of home owners in Wood Duck so they can have an equal view of the water? The interior lot homeowners are not entitled to what you're advocating. In addition, waterfront lots already pay more money to OPA than do interior lots. |
