I didn't say they should have such access to those views, they just shouldn't have to subsidize them. Interior lots do not subsidize waterfront lots. Where are you getting your information? Case in point! Why not golf course lot owners? Obviously you don't understand the OPA assessment structure. It is equitable. OPA collects more from bulkheaded waterfront owners because in most instances OPA is responsible for maintaining those bulkheads. The extra money is for that purpose and none other. Golf course lots have no other OPA costs associated and thus pay the same as any other interior lot. Have you owned property in OP very long? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: How can owners of interior lots expect to have equal access to a water view or a golf course view when their homes are not on the water or golf course? They didn't pay to have such a view or such access. I didn't say they should have such access to those views, they just shouldn't have to subsidize them. In addition, waterfront lots already pay more money to OPA than do interior lots. Case in point! Why not golf course lot owners? |
