For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Janet, the board has acknowledged it should have allowed public comments at that meeting. Your comments are a perfect example of how association members want the opportunity to address the board publicly at meetings. That wasn't a "relative" of a board member who said Public Comments wasn't on the agenda, it was Heather Cook's husband -- Larry Devlin. Later, board counsel informed the board it was required to allow public comments, but that was in private session after everyone left. I am fairly certain the board will not allow public comments about the marina at the Town Hall meeting. By the way, OPA charter REQUIRES that public pedestrian access paths be maintained. That would include all such access paths, including those into Wood Duck Park. Here's a link to the charter:
