For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: When the board said "we need more boat slips" in a generic way, it is not surprising there were no objections. However, when the actual plan was developed, including location of the slips, objections arose. They did not arise first on this forum but from a group of home owners who live in the immediate vicinity and were not members of this forum. There is no "hysteria" in the Beach Club discussions here. There is great concern among some that what they perceive as a valuable amenity will be lost or dramatically changed -- for the worse in their view. |
