I have personally never had those kind of problems you describe at the Yacht Club.

Let's look at it this way.  I drink an occasional cold beer.  The cost of an imported bottle of beer at the Club is a fair $ 3.95.  Assuming that the bartender does not under or over cook it I would normally add a 20% tip, or $.80 plus tax of $.24 for a total of say $ 5.00.  Now, my wife is also known to enjoy a cold beer, so, I am at $10.00 a round.  Let's say that we each have two for a big night out of $20.00.  Ok, now divide that, less the tip and tax, into our discussion number of $84.00 and we only need 5.5 more visits and we are done.

Robert, while I really do sympathize with your you on your previous problems at the club the only way that those kind of things ever get fixed is by telling Joe or Larry about it.  I once got a bad steak at the old Talbot Street Cafe and did not tell the owner because they were personal friends.  They found out later and were so mad at me that it almost ended our friendship.  Like it or not you and I are in the Yacht Club business and we need to work together to make it a success, or, convince a majority of the board to close it down.
