The point to be made is that on average if every member stopped by the YC just once each month and spent only $7.00, there would be no YC deficit. Who can't do that? If you don't like the food, order a drink or two. It is not a matter of "Who can't do that" but the reality is that people "won't do that" any more than when the Japanese started producing better cars and everyone was being encouraged to "buy American". People like to at least feel that their dollar is buying value not outright subsidizing something. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: So the yacht club belongs to OP owners and you and other directors want us to tell you what to do with the place ........ If you don't like the food, order a drink or two. Whether the YC is being managed properly, as in can the deficit be reduced by better management, is a totally different issue. |
