Joe: How would you know about the food quality, you never go to the Yacht Club. In my opinion your constant negative whining about how awful the place, food and management are is much more harmful to our bottom line than the food quality. Every retail dollar you drive away from your Yacht Club is equal to $.20 +/- we all have to subsidize. Marty |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Like it or not we, the membership, has to either pick up the loss generated by the operation on top of the capital expenses or shut it down and still have to pay for the capital cost as well as the on going maintenance which can cost more in an unused building as it cost us now. Gosh Marty, isn't improved food and service to attract customers even on the table any more? I feel zero obligation to spend my money at any particular place. When it comes to obligation, association members have every right to expect proper management from the board and GM, not some lame litany about how members should go and buy beer whether they like the food or not. Has it come down to blaming association members for the failure of management to attract paying customers? |
