and publishing a contract (or lease) while it is in negotiation is not the proper time. Who said it was in negotiation? Not the board. One would presume if the board told the president he could sign it, the negotiations were hopefully over. Or do you think the board authorized the president to negotiate anything and then sign whatever deal he struck? Doubtful. Think about it. Negotiations are/were over. If they were not then the action of the board is even more in question. Is your agreement with Rakow based on knowledge the negotiations are not over, or are you making an assumption? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Bill: Your note to Joe on the "OC BAYSIDE DEBACLE" is right on. Thee is a proper time to do all things... and publishing a contract (or lease) while it is in negotiation is not the proper time. The amount of time wasted discussing this is truly amazing. Virtually all of the "facts" that I have seen presented are wrong... so lets wait until it is done and then all can comment. Jeff Knepper |
