Have you addressed any of the issues with the GM in the last four years? Also I don't believe we have lost any parking spaces due to the encroachments.

Let me first say that I really appreciate the time and effort that you put into Ocean Pines affairs. WE are VERY LUCKY to have you!            

My point about the parking is this: The arrangement that we have with Seacrets is supposed to be a mutually beneficial deal on parking because we both have a good bit of land and do not need it at the same time.

We happen to own a slice of land on the bay side which we desperately need on weekends in the summer. ESPECIALLY on holiday weekends. 

We help them out at night and they should help us in the daytime.

In my opinion ALL OF THE LAND THAT WE OWN SHOULD BE AVAILABLE TO US IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY!

Seacrets does have heavy attendance in the early part of the day. By three o'clock the Ocean Pines lot on the beach side is emptying out so there is no need to be over at Seacrets.

Last year on July 4th...I dropped off my guests at the Beach Club because there was no place to park. I went across the street and the OP part of the lot was full but there were LOADS of empty spaces otherwise. They have an area ON OP PROPERTY where cars can drive around to the other side and wll not let anyone park there. It is up by our water accesss area.

That area...the "driveway" is ours ...along with quite a bit of other land where they have encroached with a sound barrier wall and little hill with flowers and other things. ( It looks very nice....but it is not theirs!) 

I see no reason in the world that they should not give us back in parking spaces  the exact square footage they have TAKEN AWAY FROM US!

I see nothing strange about this idea and cannot believe that the negotiators could not see how UNFAIR this is to the membership.

There is nothing worse on a hot day than trying to find a parking place at the beach.....especially when you KNOW that OP property is being used by someone else!

Joe seems to think that no provision was made to solve this problem.
