Joe, I know that the driveway is needed.....and I stated as such. You could park a few cars in 100 feet of space...and we should have compensation for it. Why didn't we have a chance to see the lease BFORE it was signed??? There should be a public hearing or at the very least an opportunity to send in letters or e-mails with suggestions in case something important has been forgotten. We are "the taxpayers"., for goodness sakes! I can tell you one thing. If I have to go over there again this summer and it is full. I will park wherever I darn well please! If an issue is made over it.....I will make a big issue of it! Nancy |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: They put a long driveway on it. Guess it depends on the definition of "long." The "driveway" is to allow movement of cars to and from Seacrets primary business location, across OPA property, to Seacrets parking north of OPA's property. The "driveway" would be 100 feet. Bring your issue up to the board in about 4 years when they may be renegotiating the lease. As Marty said so eloquently -- "Any sane person knows this lease is a done deal .... and you are clueless" - so stop questioning what the board did in seAcret. The board knows what is best for us. If you question that fact you are just another uninformed, trouble-making forum member. Of course it will probably all be TOP-SEACRET again, and you won't be allowed to know what the board is doing until AFTER a new lease is signed, so good luck. |
