Why didn't we have a chance to see the lease BFORE it was signed??? There should be a public hearing or at the very least an opportunity to send in letters or e-mails with suggestions in case something important has been forgotten.

The funny thing about the membership being able to review and/or comment about this darn lease with Seacrets is that there was so much noise, thank goodness, on the forum last year, the BOD held that Special Meeting about the 99 year issue.  Even after going to that meeting and hearing what the membership that was present had to say, and believe me, there was plenty of back and forth, I believe the BOD, because of the membership's uproar and this forum participation, they bagged the 99 year lease.  That's what this forum does and thank goodness that we have this forum and Joe to provide us with some sort of platform.   Imagine if there were no ocean pines forum; talk about a community that would be totally "clueless".......
